The pool is open.
(Nine stories below our balcony.)
We only hang out there once or twice a summer.
We like knowing the lounge chairs, the cool water, and the sun
are there for our enjoyment if we want them.
Thoughts of summer, laziness, and the pool we rarely frequent...

Sounds refreshing! Have a grand day! Cathy
To have it so close and not use it! Life sure gets in the way of lounging doesn't it, but then again you are off to Hawaii and that my friend will be awesome.
SO get the "nice to know it's there" but never get around to doing it! What a great view, and on a hot day, I bet AWFULLY enticing.
Thanks for playing along, Laura!
(The two week moark is getting AWFULLY close on the countdown clock!)
Maybe you can enjoy it more this summer, but if you just get enjoyment knowing it's there, that's good enough!
Oooo does that ever look nice. A cool pool is definately a Monday maker. Stopping by from Cheryl's blog.

the local pool is about a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk from our house. During summer we take the children 5 times a week at least. It is a great family outing. Steve and I sit on the edge of the baby pool watching Christopher and talk. We dangle our feet.
He seems to be getting a bit too big for the baby pool now so I don't know where we will sit when he doesn't want to go in there anymore.
sounds awesome!!
I would be the same way. I loved living in an apartment with a pool but I very seldom used it.
Must be nice to look out and see it there.
Splish-Splash!! How cool is that! I would love love love to have a swimmmenpool!
frequent that baby way more than you do! SOO worth the effort!
That's how I feel about living near the ocean...but my kids make me go there all the time.
Looks refreshing!
Sounds nice. I love going to the pool. Have a great Monday!!
Sometimes, just the knowing that it's there for you is enough to keep you going. Even if you never take a dip :)
OHHHH! I love that pool! Sweet!
Gee that is waaaaaaay down there....
We just got an inflatable pool for the kiddos, but have no pump. So, now they hve to decide if they want it enough to blow it up themselves. So far they don't.
