It had been quite a school year- full of anguish overmy father's illness yet filled with gratitude because
of his recovery. In addition, the classroom workload
was overwhelmingly busy and I was left at the end of the year with some unsettling issues about the school system and teacher pay.
After coming to grips with the issues and having a terrific heart-to-heart with the administration last week,
I am once again feeling like I can fight the good fight.
I am once again feeling like I can fight the good fight.
But most important?
I'm off to Rehoboth Beach today with these awesome ladies ...friendships that have lasted over 35 years.

A little beach time with some of my closest of close friends
....well that just Makes My Monday.

I hope you have a great holiday Laura.
I love this for you!
That is so great. Enjoy.
Yay! Have a great time! Awesome!
Glad for closure and hoping for a fresh start next month. We are in the middle of contract negotiations and I have no idea how they are going...a lil nerve wracking in this economy. I know we have a good team fighting for us, though, so I am hoping for the best.
Enjoy your trip and time with friends!
Time with friends is such a blessing. :)
So glad the issues were taken care of and you can relax and enjoy your holiday!!
Have a WONDERFUL beach trip with good friends. (Something about the shore is VERY rejuvenating...and good friends, doubly so!)
Thank you so much for Making My Monday by playing along!
